life on parade.

several days into my experiment with having the visual detritus of my friends' lives as my computer desktop in 15 minute increments, here is what i have discovered about what the people i know and care about know and care about:

• other people
• dogs
• cute babies
• club kids and the music that moves them
• amusing street signs and amusing signs on the street
• seriously, a lot of dogs
• teddy bears
• whiteboards
• trees
• flowers
• landscapes
• cityscapes
• dinner
• dick cheney
• footwear

then we start to notice the mash-ups:

• teddy bears in trees
• amusing music signs
• amusing dick cheney
• people in front of other people
• people in front of computers
• people in front of whiteboards
• people in front of other people in front of computers
• people in front of other people in front of computers in front of footwear

i could go on, but i won't.
